The photogravures features oval figures in bright colors amidst dense forest vegetation, evoking an exotic bird displaying its magnificent plumage. The mysterious object is actually the internal shell of a cuttlefish, explored for its fragility and "technological" abilities to float and dive. Pini uses photogravure and the "encrage à la poupée" technique to create color gradients, reflecting on cultural and natural perceptions of objects. Through this, she prompts us to reconsider how we view the world and the things around us.
